When I started at the Survey in 2014, Teka and Lela in the Registrar's office befriended me right away. Teka discovered quickly that I was a competent person so she started introducing me to the world of Archeology. She and Lela patiently instructed me and kept encouraging me to learn more about the operations at the CO so that I could advance into another position. And I did. Teka was my friend and a great person to have on your side. I will miss her greatly. Rest in peace friend.
