Teka Rene McGlothlin's Obituary
Teka Rene McGlothlin, of Fayetteville, passed away on Tuesday, February 7th, 2023, at M.D. Anderson in Houston, Texas. She was born on July 7, 1968, in Honolulu, Hawaii to Curtis Dean McGlothlin and Francis Darlene Crawford. She was preceded in death by her father.
Teka was a Registrar at the Arkansas Archeological Survey and a member of the Register of Professional Archeologists. She was responsible for managing and maintaining all documents and records concerning archeological operations for the state of Arkansas. She helped to develop an online virtual museum using collections from both the Survey and UA Museum. She enjoyed woodworking as a hobby.
Teka leaves behind her mom, Darlene Crawford; brother Rudye McGlothlin and his wife Jennifer Skiffington; devoted life partner Lesley Harmsworth; dogs Bentley and Saxon; cat Bodi; and many other friends and loved ones who will miss her.
Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Moore’s Chapel Funeral Home.
