Timothy Mullin's Obituary
Timothy (Tim) Leo Mullin, age 57, lost his battle with ALS (Lou Gerhig's disease) on December 10, 2007 at the home of his brother Russ and sister in law, Elinor in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Tim was born to Anne Link and Leo Mullin, the 4th of 6 children, in Kansas City, Missouri. He attended St. Agnes Elementary, Rockhurst High School, Rockhurst College and K.U. where he received degree in 1972. Tim's successful sales career included Colgate, Rollins, J.C. Nichols, Jack Roach Cadillac, Andy Klein Pontiac and Stealth Marketing. Tim also co-owned Café Blanc de Blanc in Miami, Florida. He loved to spend time with his parents, "Anne and Moon," play golf and have a good laugh. Tim also enjoyed participating in occasional games of "chance". Many interesting stories were shared during the last 21 months between Tim, family and friends. Tim appreciated and was thankful for the gift of his friendships and having had these experiences. Although limited in his mobility, his mind remained ever-sharp and his great sense of humor was always intact. Tim remained a man of his word, never saying anything he could not prove, always able to prove everything he said. Though his suffering was great, Tim never complained. He taught us all a lesson in humility and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to many friends and business associates, Tim is survived by his brothers Jan P. Mullin, Kansas City, Kansas; Russell Mullin (Elinor) of Fayetteville, Arkansas; his sisters, Megan Kopp (Jim)Overland Park, Kansas; Mary Jeanne Herzberg (Mark), Roeland Park, Kansas; Suzanne Nuener (Steve) of Lee's Summit, Mo; his Aunt, Margaret Link; Cousins, Frannie Schilling, Lori Dalton, Steve and Stan Spruill; Sisters Marion & Martha Neiman and Sister Mary Regina Link, Sisters of Charity; all from greater Kansas City, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Tim was forever grateful for the loving care he received from his sister-in-law, Elinor, at the home of his brother, Russ and the kindnesses extended by his life-long friend, John Shigouri, as well as the attention showered upon him by his Kansas City friends and business associates.
