We were in basketball practice in 7th grade... One practice coach was giving us a hard time about running certain plays the way he wanted them run... He was getting on us pretty hard and told us that we were going run them that way whether we liked it or not... Out of nowhere, Tommy in a real funny voice said "I like it"... We all started laughing, and coach, trying to hold back, busted out laughing with the rest of us!🤣
My deepest condolences to Tammi and the family. I first met Tommy in 1987. As time went on we became good friends. Tommy was like a brother I never had. Tommy would go out of his way to help you. We would travel together to different places to see the Razorbacks play. He loved the Hogs. Tommy expressed to me more than once how much he loved Tammy and his family. Tommy will be missed by me and many more. RNP my friend.

I only knew Tommy for a short time, but we shared a similar story as entrepreneurs building something from the ground up. He kind of showed up like Jerry Jones — giving advice and telling stories from his years in business.
One day he drove me around showing me his townhome projects and talked about how he got started, even mailing letters to landowners trying to buy property. That stuck with me because that’s actually how I first connected with him.
He worked hard to build his gas stations and townhome projects. He was inspiring and shared his knowledge generously. It was really cool getting to know him and hear his stories.
We moved to Rogers in 1987 the same year as Tommy & Tammi, in 1992 we sold our first home to Tommy’s parents , this is when we met Tommy & Tammy and become lifelong friends. In 2009 we had to move out of our home for emergency renovations with nowhere to go, Tommy & Tammi said the folks have moved out of your old home and are putting it up for sale but just go ahead and move in there as long as you need it. Well our project lasted longer than anticipated and they said no problem we will put it up for sale whenever your back in your home. Tommy would not accept any money from us and we will forever be grateful for their generosity. RIP Tommy & Prayer fo Tammi and the kids

One of my favorite things about Tommy was the fact that he was a man of integrity. You could always trust he would do the right thing. He was always helping people behind the scenes, never seeking attention or fanfare for his support of others, just doing so humbly and quietly. Tommy, you fought a good fight. May you now rest in the arms of Jesus. Until we meet again…
