I knew Mr. Watson from several different venues. But I became especially well acquainted with him, and fond of him, when we served together on the Washington County Quorum Court. He served the county very well.
And he knew Washington County like the back of his hand.

Wilber was "the Farmer's Market" for many years and I worked with him on Downtown Fayetteville Unlimited in the 80's.
He was fine man and did many special things for our community.
He will be missed.
my husband, mort gitelman, and I are on Austria and my son Jason Watson let us know about Wilbur's death. Wilbur was a prince, and the world would be a much better place if more people were like him. Mort and I will be thinking of your family during this time of loss.
Mr Watson was a good and honest man. He was always so friendly and just a pure joy to be around. He will be greatly missed. God gave him a good long life and I am honored to have known him.
