It was an honor for our family to have known Zane. We considered him a man of great integrity. He and Susan raised three upstanding sons. We know that he will be terribly missed. Please accept our very deepest sympathy.
Zane was a great man that I have known since 1980. I spent many summers with him and his family on Beaver Lake in Arkansas. He treated me like I was one of his own and I will never forget that. To this day, the tradition carries on as I take my wife and 3 kids to the lake every summer.
After recently losing my father I realize how precious time can be. I was fortunate to spend some time with Zane last fall. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
A friend, always with a smile.
Zane was one of the most kindest, loving person of most all I have ever known. My girls and I loved him as our own. We could see the love for his wife and children was one of the most finest example's as a great, grand father, father and husband, and he will be missed dearly.
Our thoughts and prayers go to the family.
Steve Spencer and family
I enjoyed having Zane as a classmate through highschool and am proud to have served in the same service as he did. He was a good Marine. I salute you Zane. Jack Macy USMC
Susan, I am so sorry to hear about Zane. Mitch just called me. I was in Rogers for two weeks...I just got home on Wed. Two or Three times I thought about you guys and was going to give you a call...and as things go I DID NOT do it. I am sorry. I don't know if you knew it or not, but I lost Gary on May 27th. Zane was a prince of a guy. He run a tight ship at State Farm. I tell everyone that he is the only person that I ever knew that only had one job all his life. (I think that is true and not something I dreamed up).
Take care of yourself, and trust in the Lord.
We knew Zane as a charming, witty, and caring man who was smart enough to choose Susan as his wife. They made a beautiful couple whose love can not be parted and whose legacy will endure through their wonderful family. We send our caring thoughts and love to you all. Jo and Vern
I remember Zane as a special friend in Cherryvale High School. I offer my condolences to his family. May God bless and comfort you.
Family Man--that was my Dad.
Dad loved being with his family. He was always there for us. Though we are all grown and have our own families, we three boys now feel a little more alone in this world without our Dad's presence to guide and support us.
My Dad introduced me to the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and boating. He set a wonderful example of how to be a good husband, father, and a citizen of this country.
Most importantly, his unconditional love for us was always there when we needed it.
I love you and miss you Pop.
